“I think it’s a really good idea that from quite early on you develop a bedtime routine. If you haven’t started one yet then it’s no problem – you can begin one tonight.
Again I recommend a bedroom routine happens in the bedroom where your child is going to sleep. I would invest about 10 to 20 minutes helping your child to learn the phrases that you use, the clothes that you dress them in… so you start to send the right message that it’s time to go to sleep”
