Our sleep expert Lucy Wolfe offers her great tips for how to achieve great sleep for your baby. Here’s tip #3…

Lucy says:

“During the first six months your child’s sleep is really quite immature and they are largely governed by waking and feeding and they don’t necessarily sleep for huge amounts of time.

Again you just need to have respect for that. I would recommend working away on the feeding and sleeping structures that I talk about in my book, the baby sleep solution.

Then as you move towards the 4 to 5 month mark you can start to become a little bit more involved in moving towards a situation where your child is a little more independent of you.”
